Troy Tucker Passed away the 28th of April, 2024.

Troy Tucker, a resident of Houston, Texas, peacefully passed away on April 28, 2024, at the age of 61 surrounded by his loved ones. Born on September 14, 1962, Troy was the cherished son of Leroy Delmar Mason and Lyla Marie Mason.

Throughout his life, Troy dedicated himself to the craft of acoustic ceiling work, leaving a lasting impact on countless businesses in the Houston area.

In 1980, Troy met Jan in Houston, Texas, marking the beginning of a 43-year journey together. Their union blessed them with four biological children: David, Michael, Thomas, and Anthony.

Despite the demands of his busy life, Troy always made time for his loved ones, cherishing every moment spent together, whether it was casting lines during fishing trips in Sargent, or dedicating himself to coaching speed skating, guiding his team to success.  Troy took his boys various practices, including but not limited to karate and football, supporting his wife, who was unable to drive at the time. Troy's unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and community leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be forever cherished.

Troy is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Delmar Mason. He is survived by his mother, Lyla Marie , his children: David Tucker (Jennifer), Michael Tucker (Tony), Thomas Tucker (Irma), and Anthony Tucker (Kristina), Bryan (Suzanne). He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren: David, Connor, Jaden, Kimberly, Aubrey, Samantha, Mikey,  April, and Jone.
